After graduating, the founder of Sage Private Chefs dove into the culinary world head first filled with passion and excitement. Gaining experience at some of Pretoria's finest restaurants, he took time to learn and appreciate different techniques, products, cultures and styles. When the pandemic decimated the restaurant industry, Sage was born. The original intention was to give customers a comfortable and safe fine dining experience in their homes. We started with nothing but talent, our chefs knives and a chopping board. Driven to improve the quality we deliver with every chop, sauté and brûlée, Sage grew to become a bespoke service provider, bringing the magic and opulence of fine dining into the home.

Taking the 'restaurant' aspect out of the traditional fine dining experience has brought a lot of excitement to both our team and our guests, giving our team the opportunity to work in a deeply intimate environment where we can focus and present the finest levels of service. For our guests it has provided the opportunity to enjoy an opulent experience at home, to find a deeper appreciation for food and to interact with our chefs, creating an unforgettable experience.
